Lynda Tarryk is a THREE time Children's & Family Emmy® Nominated Television Director whose work includes THE CONNERS (ABC), NIGHT COURT (NBC), LOPEZ VS LOPEZ (NBC), THE UPSHAWS (Netflix), HOW I MET YOUR FATHER (HULU) and RAVEN'S HOME (DISNEY CHANNEL)
Other multicam shows include the reboot of WIZARDS BEYOND WAVERLY PLACE (DISNEY CHANNEL), ACT YOUR AGE (BOUNCETV), DRAGGING THE CLASSICS - THE BRADY BUNCH (Paramount+) where Lynda shot on an all green screen stage recreating the iconic Brady Home virtually, CALL YOUR MOTHER (ABC) starring Kyra Sedgwick and Rachel Sennott, the sketch comedy revival ALL THAT (Nickelodeon), and the pilot of single camera dramedy FOLK (Stavis Films). Her directing work also includes various network promos, short films (including the festival favorite LUST LIFE starring Caitriona Balfe, live parade events, music videos and staged productions. Lynda's work has played in festivals all over the world. She was a Nicholl Fellowship semifinalist and a Second Rounder in the Austin Film Festival with her screenplay, "Pond's End," has written two original single camera comedies and is currently developing a musical.
Lynda's philosophy to directing is making sure the actors have a safe place to explore character choices and physical comedy bits without the fear of failing. Lynda's extensive experience as an Associate Director gives her a technical advantage with cameras, editing and pace.
